Chamber Music
Each year PADESTA sponsors a chamber music festival for high school and collegiate students. The 2010 PADESTA String Chamber Music Festival will take place on January 30, 2010 at the Penn State School of Music. The festival featured a performance and master classes by the BIAVA QUARTET. Registration is open to high school and college string chamber ensembles, including string quartets, string quintets, and string trios, etc. Participants attending the festival will have master classes with members of the Biava Quartet and university faculty performers, and will have the opportunity to perform in a public recital in Penn State’s Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I.
Applications for must be received by December 18, 2009. Supporting university faculty members are invited to attend free of charge. Please click here to download the String Chamber Music Festival application.
